The event aimed to unlock the entrepreneurial potential of research by providing participants with a framework to translate their innovative ideas into viable business models. It introduced students and aspiring entrepreneurs to mentorship and funding opportunities available in the NRW region of Germany, fostering innovation and business growth in this area. Additionally, the partnership between FSID, IISc, the Gateway Excellence Start-up Centre at the University of Cologne, DWIH New Delhi, and NRW Global Business focused on developing programs that facilitate the establishment of startups rooted in deep tech research in India. Around 15-20 participants engaged in this initiative, gaining insights into the resources offered by the NRW government, DWIH Delhi, and the University of Cologne to support entrepreneurship among researchers.
