The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), India’s largest and oldest apex business organization, recently visited IISc to engage with members of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and explore the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem at the institute. During their visit, FICCI’s leadership expressed a strong interest in supporting IISc’s initiatives and offered to connect students, faculty, and startups with industry representatives. This collaboration aims to strengthen industry-academia ties, foster mentorship, and create more opportunities for IISc innovators to bring their ideas to market.
